Format:
Game/30 (maximum one hour for each game). Grade-level format with students playing only other students within their own grade, K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Undefeated players will be designated as co-champions. "Swiss Sys" will break all other ties (S, C, O). Team trophies shall be awarded based on the top five player's scores, from a team, in each of two groups, 1-3 and 4-6, (using merged standings from individual sections). This tournament will be paired based on the NWSRS April 2008 ratings file. Sixth graders will be given the option to play with their previous year's elementary school team or to play for his/her current Middle School Team.
